Small buildings, big roomsPart 3 of 6

Outdoor hospitality and the four-season A-frame

Outdoor hospitality is growing, and the buildings that serve it are small, repeated, and remote. That is exactly the brief prefabricated timber answers best.

A four-season A-frame designed as a kit gives an operator a structure that ships flat, assembles with a small crew, and holds up to snow load and wind. For a Mountain West operator, the same design works as a rental cabin, a bunkhouse, or a warming hut.

If you are planning a set of units rather than one, the design conversation starts with the count: the more identical structures, the more the model, the packaging, and the crane plan pay back. Sometimes the count pushes the design past the A-frame entirely.
