Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of masstimberco.com and the information on it. Work we do on a project is governed by a separate written agreement, not by this page.
1. Who we are
Mass Timber Co. (“we”, “us”) is a design-build firm based in Victor, Idaho (PO Box 620, Victor, Idaho 83455). We provide design coordination, sourcing, and installation of cross-laminated timber structural systems for custom homes in the Mountain West.
2. What this website is for
The site explains how mass timber works, how we work, and how to contact us. Nothing on the site is a bid, a quote, an engineering opinion, or a promise that mass timber will suit your project. Spans, schedules, costs, and performance depend on the site, the design, the engineer of record, and local code, and are settled in writing for each project.
3. Inquiries are not contracts
Sending an inquiry through the site, by email, or by phone starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve production capacity, or obligate either of us. Our work on a project begins only under a signed agreement that sets out scope, price, schedule, and responsibilities. If anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement controls.
4. Using the site
You may use the site to learn about our services and to contact us. You may not scrape the site, submit false inquiries, interfere with its operation, attempt to access non-public areas, or use it for anything unlawful.
5. Content and trademarks
The text, photographs, drawings, diagrams, the Mass Timber Co. name, and the CLT house mark belong to us or are used with permission. You may share links to the site and quote short passages with attribution. Do not reuse photographs, drawings, or the mark without written permission. Project photographs show work we were part of; credits for architects, builders, and photographers are given where we have them, and we correct them on request.
6. Project information you send us
You are responsible for having the right to share any drawings, surveys, photographs, or other project material you send us, and for their accuracy. We treat project material as confidential and use it only to evaluate and, if engaged, deliver the project. We may keep it as part of our project records.
7. No professional advice
Information on this site is general. It is not architectural, engineering, legal, or financial advice, and it does not replace the judgment of the licensed professionals responsible for your project. Building codes, permitting, and structural requirements vary by jurisdiction and are confirmed for each project.
8. Third-party links
Links to other websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. THIS SECTION DOES NOT LIMIT ANY WARRANTY GIVEN IN A SIGNED PROJECT AGREEMENT.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS WEBSITE OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT. LIABILITY FOR PROJECT WORK IS GOVERNED BY THE PROJECT AGREEMENT, NOT BY THESE TERMS.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Mass Timber Co., its owners, employees, and contractors harmless from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
12. Privacy and text messages
Our Privacy Policy and Text Message Terms are part of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about the website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Teton County, Idaho, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
14. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new date. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
