Mass timber barn home in Tetonia, Idaho

Teton Valley, Idaho

Mass timber on the west slope of the Tetons.

We are based in Victor. Victor, Driggs, Tetonia, and the ranch land between them are where we live, build, and keep our equipment.

Building Here

What Teton Valley asks of a building.

Every region we work in has its own weather, rules, and roads. These are the ones that shape a mass-timber project here.

Open ground

Big sites, long views, and wind. Siting, orientation, and the way a roof meets the sky matter more than they do in a forest lot.

Snow and cold

Deep winters and real design loads. A panel structure carries snow as a stiff plate and goes up in cold that stops wet trades.

Working land

Barns, shops, and homes that need to work. Long clear spans and robust walls suit agricultural programs as well as living rooms.

Close to home

We are minutes from most sites. Site visits, crane days, and small problems get handled the same day.

Why Mass Timber Here

What the system offers on this ground.

Barns, shops, and homes

One structural system for the house, the shop, and the guest quarters, detailed to look like it belongs together.

Panels that handle the wind

Continuous CLT walls brace a building in every direction and take the gusts that come across the valley.

Local crew, European precision

Fabricated in Austria, assembled by people who live here and will drive past the house for years.

Nearby Work

Across the pass and down the valley.

The Wilson Residence stands twenty minutes over Teton Pass, and the South Fork Lodge A-frames sit an hour south on the Snake River. Both were built on the same spruce CLT system we use here.

From Wherever You Are

You do not need to be here to build here.

Most of our owners live somewhere else during the build. One point of contact, decisions on a calendar, and photos at every milestone are how the process works.
