Sun Valley, Idaho
Mass timber for the Wood River Valley.
Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey, and the hillsides above them. A drier climate, serious snow in the upper valley, and a design culture that values restraint.
Building Here
What Sun Valley asks of a building.
Every region we work in has its own weather, rules, and roads. These are the ones that shape a mass-timber project here.
Two climates in one valley
Ketchum carries real snow. Hailey and Bellevue run drier and warmer. The same structure is detailed differently at each end of the road.
Wildfire country
Sagebrush and timber hillsides mean enclosure decisions come first: siding, soffits, vents, and roofing chosen for ember exposure.
Design review
Hillside and ridgeline guidelines shape massing. A panel system lets us commit to a precise form early and hold it through fabrication.
Distance
Freight comes up Highway 75 from the south. Staging, crane reach, and tight lots in Ketchum are planned before the order ships.
Why Mass Timber Here
What the system offers on this ground.
Warmth without weight
Exposed spruce ceilings and walls bring the material in without heavy logs or timber frames competing with the view.
A fast, quiet site
Fewer trucks, fewer trades, and a structure that stands in days. Neighbors notice.
Precision that survives design review
What is approved is what is cut. Shop drawings become the building, not an interpretation of it.

Our Work
Built in the Tetons, ready for the Wood River Valley.
Our completed homes stand in Wilson, Wyoming and on the South Fork of the Snake River. The spruce CLT system, the Arbo windows, and the install sequence travel. Ask us for the Lookbook and a site visit.
From Wherever You Are
You do not need to be here to build here.
Most of our owners live somewhere else during the build. One point of contact, decisions on a calendar, and photos at every milestone are how the process works.
